What can we use the service for?
Determining first steps in responding to critical incidents including supporting your organisation:
To determine if an incident is reportable under the Reportable Conduct Scheme or other regulatory scheme;
In Risk management and mitigation, including managing legal and reputational risk from the early stages of a critical safeguarding incident or issue.
To comply with its reporting obligations, including to Police, Child Protection, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and the Aged Care Quality and Safeguards Commission;
Tailored Advice for your organisation:
Advice on the implementation and compliance with your organisation’s current reporting and incident response processes
Advice on your organisation’s child safety and safeguarding policies and their application to critical incidents and issues
Assumptions and Exclusions
- The scope of work covers high level advice on safeguarding and child safety matters.
- Matters requiring research, written advice, review of documentation or on-going legal support will be
subject to an additional fixed fee Price Proposal.
Billing
- The Safe Space Support Line fee will be invoiced upon signing of the Price Agreement, with Support Line services commencing upon receipt of funds.
- The Safe Space Legal Support Line can be invoiced in monthly,
quarterly, or annual increments.
